In this video from mid-2005, I am solving using my original speedcubing method (modified Minh Thai corners-first). The cube is a Rubik's Studio Cube with the flat centers. I preferred this type of cube because the corners-first strategy uses a lot of slice moves, and the arched centers would catch too often with the style of cubing I had evolved. Notice that I didn't use any finger shortcuts to speak of. I averaged around 31 seconds by the time of WC2005.
