In the glory days of Rubik's Cube, competitions were held. Minh Thai (left) emerged as the eventual worldwide champion. I was in the second round of Cube-a-Thons in 1982, placing 3rd place in St. Louis. |

Shown at right is another cube competitor. Notice the large cube hanging behind him. I came away from the St. Louis event with one of these, and I still have it! Ideal Toy Corporation actually sold them through the club newsletter. |
